In the heart of the Atlantic, the islands of Azores and Madeira are treasures to be discovered – each is unique, authentic and deeply different from one another.

Madeira is an explosion of color tearing the blue of the skies and sea. Volcanic formations have given birth to an exuberant landscape, with flowers of every color contrasting the green of the mountains. An old proverb says “Spring spends Winter in Madeira” – where you can find sunny weather throughout the year, perfect for enjoying exotic local gastronomy and taste distinctive wine made of unique luscious grapes. With a vibrant and warm culture, you can stroll through narrow and charming streets while admiring colonial architecture.

Throughout the island you’ll find world

Natural Heritage subtropical humid forests and impressive cliffs. Just 30 minutes away by plane, the Porto Santo Island is home to long beaches of fine sand and crystalline sea, excellent for diving.

The nine Azores Islands are defined by their overwhelming natural beauty, small pieces of paradise with so much to discover. Decorated with beaches of white sand, vineyards that cover hillsides, warm thermal waters, natural waterfalls, lagoons dug by volcanoes, whales and dolphins that can be seen swimming in the Atlantic Ocean surrounding the island. From hiking to deep water diving with manta rays and sharks, or tasting local specialties cooked in traditional volcano heated ovens, the Azores are a beacon of pure nature.
