At Wild Douro we enjoy digging for genuine Portuguese stories which echo century old traditions, reflecting the vibrant cultural fabric of a warm hearting nation. We take pride in our search for the roots of authentic people, finding ourselves in the most improbable places, on a permanent quest to share stories of our vast cultural patrimony.

Joining this quest will allow you to learn how to bake bread, mould clay, paint tiles or make cheese. Get to know first hand about harvesting grapes, cooking traditional dishes and sweets, playing Portuguese guitar or dancing traditional folk music.

We will pause time, learn, discover and take with us a bit of the faces, the smiles, the conversations and stories of the people who keep these arts and traditions alive. These are the living treasures of a culture, stories scattered in time and space now closer to us.
